Back Ozito 4" (100mm) Angle Grinder
I was in the local Bunnings hardware the other day and they had a shelf full of these Ozito grinders on special for under $30. Never one to pass up a bargain I went over to have a closer look.

A pretty picture on the packaging doesn't count for much but the words "3 year replacement warranty" do. A kindergarten mathematician could tell you that you are only risking $10 a year. The power is on the low side for this side grinder at 850watts but I have used lots of grinders in this size and power range so I didn't see this as a problem. In the end I told my wife I had a desperate need for another grinder (I'll figure out what I am going do with it once I get it home) and she let me buy it.

Once unpacked it didn't take me long to identify several ergonomic flaws to the design which I talk about in the video. Nothing serious enough to make me sorry I bought it, just sort of shake my head and wonder if the designer ever held a grinder in his hand and actually used it. For $30 I am happy but (for me at least) bargains are a complex thing.

A while back I picked up a little Hitachi G10SS grinder on special for just under $70 which I am also very happy with so I did a little table to show my decision making process if I had to choose between the two:
